There are several opportunities to support the women and their families of JBB. We're looking for a minimum of 15 hours a month for the following:
Chemo Buddies
Stock & Warehousing - [Handlers] Process incoming merchandise, supplies & equipment for quality control and placement of donations
Retail Sales - [Clerk] Along with a smile, you’ll provide encouragement, fashion expertise and information on cancer resources and services available in Oregon while selling merchandise at JBB.
Online Sales - [Manager] Oversee the daily/monthly operations of the JBB online store i.e. merchandising and posting JBB exclusives not available at the retail site.
Cancer Support - [Peer Support] Provide emotional and spiritual support to women and their children directly or indirectly impacted by a cancer diagnosis. Share information and referrals to women regarding agencies and organizations offering cancer-related resources and services i.e. support groups, transportation, nutritional, financial, etc.
Angels in the Outfield
Public Relations - Recruit community partners to provide resources and services to beneficiaries, customers, patrons, caregivers.
Marketing & Promotions - Identify, produce and coordinate marketing and promotional opportunities to support operations and programs.
Donor & Sponsor Recruitment - Identify and secure individuals and organizations to make monetary and in kind donations as well as offer sponsorship opportunities for fundraisers and special events.
Volunteer Coordinator - Coordinate the recruitment and training of volunteers for retail, merchandising and fundraising.
Peer Support - Coordinate bi-weekly support meetings for women and children who are impacted by a cancer diagnosis.
